NO is Not Enough

NO is Only Half the Task

A really big part of our growth is learning to say “No.” If we pay close attention, we soon find that it isn’t enough. We feel empowered and begin to end the cycle of suffering – YEA! However, we also experience that it isn’t enough. Something is still not right. Something is still lacking. The hole(s) is (are) still there. So, What’s Up With That? The simple answer is that we haven’t told the Universe what to give us in place of what we are saying no to. Think of little kids and teenagers. There are points where they’re developing their identity is about saying no. This is most noticeable with teens.

Their process of “no” is, I’m not you, I’m not that, that isn’t what I want. All is very important. However, when we take away all of the what-I’m-nots, we still don’t know who we are, or what we want (specifically). The Universe’s job is to give us what we want. It is a constant creation process. There isn’t any pause. When you say “no” is there a sense of emptiness? (There often is when something stops.) Is there a sense of empowerment combined with a sense of now-what? If we say/think/feel (I’ll use say from here on) I-don’t-know, that is what the Universe will give us. If we say I’m-lost, THAT is what the Universe will give us. Get the picture? No is not enough.

NO is an Incomplete Sentence

Here is what I do. I consider “no” an incomplete sentence. I’m tired of being tired, turns into I’m tired and I need a night off from the work. No more fear turns into I’m done being afraid, show me how to handle fear differently. Or show me specifically (at the core level) what I am afraid of. I don’t know (erase that phrase from your vocabulary turns into show me or give it to me in a different way. Start by being clear about the experience you want to have and become willing to experience and clear everything that is the way of receiving. Peace, ease, joy, completeness, love, connection to Source – they are all available to us.

Start saying “YES” to what you want! Start by being willing to clear what is in the way of receiving. Final hint – If you don’t have everything you want, you are NOT being complete with the above. It is a journey to Realization, embrace it as a journey rather than a task and relax into walking, knowing that it is YOUR path and perfect. Do it in Joy! To be continued
