To get what we want we have to say goodbye. We all want abundance, insight, consciousness, health, and wellness, . . . What if I told you that you have set it up not to get what you want (or at least not without a struggle)?
I am pretty sure that most of you have set intentions/goals for the new year. We all want the experiences I’ve listed above. Some have gone as far as making plans and commitments, setting up accountability, and (maybe) making vows (OUCH).
Well, that is all good, except that you forgot one thing – saying GOODBYE to 2023; to old ideas, old patterns, old wounds, people you don’t want in your life anymore, limitations, and beliefs. As a result, you are carrying that all forward into this new (?) year. How can it be new if you haven’t ended all of the above? How can you/I/we meet a person (or experience) in the now moment when we carry the expectation of who and what they are? Can’t do it. No matter your conscious intention, your subconscious carries the picture.
Take a look at how you part from friends. Do you say “goodbye”? Not likely. Instead, you say “See you later” (or something of that nature). When you/I/we do that, we are holding the past open. We are saying, “I am not willing to be finished/complete.” We do not allow things to end. Something new can’t begin if something old doesn’t end.
I know, we think, “I’ll do that when I get the new.”. Manifestation doesn’t work that way. You can’t fill your cup with something if the cup is already half full. Instead, you get some weird mixture that isn’t satisfying. True? Of course. Just look at your own history and realize what this pattern has cost you.
Take that realization and start saying goodbye to everything you don’t want in your life.
Note – say goodbye to everything you want to have in your life also. That way when it comes back into your experience, it comes back new. Imagine seeing your best friend in a brand-new light – without the judgments of the past.
If you want freedom, really intimate relationships, abundance, complete realization, and vibrant health, learn to say goodbye.
