The key to happiness, enlightenment, . . . STOP thinking!
Our thoughts are one of our four energy systems (physical, mental, emotional, subtle [spiritual]). When something is happening in one, something is happening in all four systems. When you start rehash thinking (same story again. and again) you are recreating the equivalents in the other systems.

The same is true for feelings. In fact, if you think about something in the past for as little as 17 seconds, your brain begins to recreate the original feeling. So, think about “it” again and feel it ALL again! Aren’t you tired of it yet? If you’re not tired of the pain yet keep thinking about it.
If you are done with the pain and want to experience your realization, STOP thinking about it, ALLOW yourself to completely feel the experience, and then, LET IT LEAVE! If the thought comes back, stop it, replace it with “Nope, I’m done with that one!”, and put your thoughts on peace in the NOW.
Yes, I know it is a challenge to stop thinking. That’s because you are stuck in a habit. That habit needs to be changed. And that is only a matter of practice. Imagine what it is like to experience mostly thinking peaceful thoughts. Imagine being able to notice events in your life (and the world) without all the chaotic thinking that you are used to. ALLOW it all to be, stay in the NOW, and feel peace!
YES, it is as simple as that! If you don’t believe me, look around. There are plenty of us folks who are choosing to be in the NOW, claim our divinity, and experience Love and Peace.
